We build home offices from a single alcove desk up to full library-wall studies. Below is what we walk you through at design stage.
Storage & cabinetry
Base drawer units, tall filing units, printer bays with ventilated backs, closed overhead cabinets and open bookshelf runs. Storage is planned to what you actually own, books, files, kit, not to a catalogue ratio.
Lighting design
Ceiling ambient plus dedicated LED task lighting under overhead cabinets or on desk-mounted arms, designed to avoid glare on monitors. Colour temperature typically 4000K for daytime working.
Power, USB & data
Dedicated 13A sockets and USB-A/USB-C outlets integrated into the desk or under-cabinet. Data cabling for ethernet if requested. All installed by our NICEIC-approved electrician on their own certified circuit.
Acoustic & video-call considerations
Soft-close doors, closed-back cabinetry to control reverb, and a considered backdrop for video calls, visible bookshelf, neutral wall panel or acoustic tiling depending on scheme.
Library walls & study rooms
